Gather Here, All Year.
The Social House is a new year-round gathering place at Mapleside Farms. Built around craft drinks, food made to share, good conversation and one of Northeast Ohio's most familiar views.
For nearly a century, generations have come to Mapleside to celebrate traditions, spend time with the people they love and make memories overlooking the valley.
Long before every visit needed an event on the calendar, people came simply to enjoy the view, share food, conversation and spend quality time together.
The Social House brings that spirit back in a fresh way.
Set inside three familiar Mapleside rooms, it will feel both new and as though it has always belonged here, offering a warm, welcoming place to experience the farm's history, harvest and hospitality all year long.
Much of what we pour is grown a few hundred yards from where it is served. By day, the space feels warm and family-friendly. By night, it becomes relaxed, inviting and made for lingering.
Pick a table or grab a seat at the bar.
Order a little or a lot.
We will bring your food to you.
This is a new model we call "Hybrid Service": no host stand, no waiting to be seated, and no servers. Walk in, pick a spot, order what looks good, and share an experience with the people you love. We'll bring your food to you, and the bar is always a few steps away.
Every visit to The Social House can feel a little different.
Settle into the energy of The Great Room. Follow the farm's wine and orchard story into The Press. Slip away to the warmth and quiet of The Library.
Move between the rooms, find a table that feels right and make the experience your own.
The historic Apple House becomes The Great Room, the energetic center of The Social House and the room everything else revolves around.
A large central bar anchors the space, surrounded by open seating, communal tables and comfortable places to gather. Warm, casual and full of life, this is where friends meet, families reconnect, music fills the room and an afternoon drink has a way of becoming an evening together.
The Great Room carries decades of Mapleside memories into a new chapter while keeping the best part unchanged: people coming together.
Behind Mapleside's unmistakable wine barrel, the former bakery is being reimagined as The Press.
Its name connects the farm's past and future through the pressing of apples and grapes, the craft behind what is poured and a space that changes character throughout the day.
The Press is the morning room, opening early for coffee and pastries, then shifting into our cocktail and wine focused beverage offerings and creative food menu.
Wood, leather, warm lighting and details inspired by barrels and traditional presses will give the room a rich, intimate atmosphere. The Press will feel welcoming and relaxed, with a distinctive atmosphere that draws you in.
Just beyond the energy of The Great Room, the former gift shop becomes The Library, a softer, slower and more intimate corner of The Social House. Old wood bookshelves, vintage books, leather chairs, low lamps and warm textures will make the room feel collected over time rather than newly created.
With the doors open, The Library offers a comfortable place to settle in and talk. With the doors closed, it becomes a private setting for celebrations, gatherings and meaningful moments shared around the table.
Every great social house needs a room where the rest of the world feels a little farther away. This is ours.

Mapleside's festivals, concerts, weddings, and seasonal experiences are not going anywhere. The Social House simply adds an everyday reason to come back, in every season.
